Seems quite appropriate this year really as we have had one of the wettest summers.

The photo below was taken by Iain at Goodwood festival of speed and I was hoping that i could get it into my scrapbook somewhere so here it is!

This photo is for my great nan and grandad - I never knew my grandad as he died in the 60's...I don't remember my great nan much either as she passed when I was about 4. The photo was taken outside their house.

I have done some journally on the lo and it basically says what I have above.

War Time

The weekly challenge on uks this week was to use a allie colour from wartime, something metal, a B&W photo and some hidden journalling so here is the lo I made. I am quite pleased with this one.

The photo is of my nan, uncle and aunt. It would have been taken around 1943/1944 whilst my grandad was away at war. My grandad was away time my uncle was about 2.

First time on a track

Braved it and went as a passenger when Iain and his mate went on a track day yesterday! It was a bit scary but I am glad that I did it.

This weeks challenge on uks involved scrapping a "first" so this was perfect theme for me.

Contents page for a-z album

I was challenged to make a lo using black and white and one splash of colour. I did the lo and then really struggled with a title so I turned it into my contents page for my a-z album!

M is for ME

I love these Kelly Panacci Sandylion papers and embellies so I had to use these in my a-z album this is page M for Me!

A for Authors I like...

This lo has been largely inspired by Helen (weblet) as I stole her title from a page that she did and it was also her challenge of pink/yellow and chipboard that I used to make this lo.

This will be my A page for my a-z album

B is for Brother

This is a lo of my brother and his girlfriend and it will go in my a-z album under B is for Brother.

This was completed as part of a challenge to use blue / brown, ribbon and chipboard.

Quite pleased with how this one turned out.

Laura & Her MAC!

I bought this sheet of paper this morning (yes the only one I bought!) and I was determined to use it, these photos went quite well with it and yes Laura is never far from her mac!lol

4 Generations

This challenge was to use 3 shades of pink, bling and ribbon. The photo was taken in December 2003 on my dads wedding day. In the photo are my nan (who died 18 months ago) my aunt, cousin and her daughter

I ws challenged by Clare to make a lo using 3 pics, purple, ribbon and stars so here is my effort!

This is a fun lo....we were at Laura's last weekend when she produced her new shoes so of course mum and my step mum had to try them on! i got some photos and heres my lo!

Finale

This lo was inspired by the august week 1 challenge on uks. I only claimed 25 of the 30 points though as I did not use anything fluffy! Felt it would have spoilt the lo!

This photo was taken about 18 years ago I was in the show Hans Christian Anderson and my brother and sister was in the show too. The photo was taken at the end of the show and thats why the title of the lo is Finale!

Uncle Jim

The challenge was 2 pics, cs and 4 embellies...well i have 2 dif beer embellies, buttons and 2 lots of writing so I am hoping that counts!lol

Dad recently emailed me these photos of my uncle who died a couple of years ago. One was taking in the 30's and the other the 80's or 90's so I figured they fit quite well together

I decided to scrapbook my mum and dads wedding day....I really like the dcvw once upon a time album and having recently received some old photos of my familythis will be my next project so I need to buy the album when I can find one in stock!

This was a challenge to use 1 card stock, 1 patterened paper, 1 photo, chipbaord and no flowers....it was hard not to put flowers on!lol
