Colchester Croppers February

I went to the crop yesterday and was quite pleased that in my time there I managed to do 7 lo's. I think it really works to do the page kits in advance as I got so much done and travelled pretty lightly. This first lo was inspired by a lovely lo that Rachel elliott made - link to her blog on the right hand side of my blog. I have used the Fancy pants daily grinde papers and this is a pic of mum & I. This second lo is my take on PL120. It was further inspired by a lo that one of their designers Anna did. I loved the lo it really stood out and as it involved my fav Sassafras lass happy place papers I had to use them and do this lo. The photos of us were taken in the summer at Southwold Beach.
This third lo is a picutre of my friend and I taken at new year. I have used the MME papers for this one as I think they match the photo well.
This lo has been made using the DCVW Rockstar papers. I have wanted to scrap this piccie of my sister and her boyfriend playing the rockband game for so long and I think the photo works well with the papers
Then i moved on to my lovely Lemon Grass papers by Crate. I was quite pleased as I managed to get 3 lo's made using this paper - I still have a bit left and may get another done too!. The first lo is photos taken at the ruined Church at Coverhithe.
These photos were taken at the Model Village in Great Yarmouth last August.

This final lo was made using photos from last July when my friend and I went to the Colchester Castle Museum.

Scrapping from wales!

I had planned to spend the weekend in Wales with Penny from my UKS team some while ago and then it transpired that it was the cybercrop so we thought that that would be perfect. Only problem was that due to the terrible weather both Severn Bridges were closed on Friday so I couldnt get there. By the time I realised I was at Slough which is around 40 mins from my sister so I went and spent some time with her and stayed. I then managed to drive to Wales on Saturday.

I didn't think as much of the Saturday CC classes as the Friday so just really ended up trying to follow some of the sketches and doing my own thing but over the course of the weekend I managed to do 7 lo's they are not my most favourite lo's I think I was struggling with mojo a little but some of them are ok and I have done a few finishing touches since I got back. This first lo has been made using the daisy bucket papers. Sarahscards had them in their kit in January but I had a lot of the bits from the kit so thought I would buy the papers. This lo is made from one of the sketches on the design booklet. The photo is Clare and I at warwick Castle last year on a very rainey day!
This lo was inspired from a CC sketch although I did not follow the techniques. This is for my party album and I have used the sassafras lass happy days pp.
This lo is of Sarah & I in London after shopping in Harrods - July 2008. The pp is another from the daisy bucket papers that I had.
This was suppose to be one of the CC classes but it didn't turn out anything like it. I do not like this one as much as I had hoped so I need to think of what I can do to improve it.
This is a fun lo made using the pink paisley pop fashion papers. I have had these papers for so long and never got around to using them so its good they have now been used. The photos were taken new year with us 3 girls using the singstar!
I recently went to my cousin's daughters 18th birthday. I really cannot believe she is 18 now how time flies! This was her first "legal" drink as the photo was taken after midnight and that was when her birthday was. I have used the imaginise papers.
This final lo has been made using the daisy bucket papers again. Quite pleased with how this one came out. This is my brother and girlfriend and the photo was taken last year.
So that was my weekend scrapping! Thanks for reading.
